Wednesday, August 9, 2006 - Episode 8
I don’t know if you’ll be able to tell, but this was a really fun episode to film because everything seemed pretty relaxed. That’s how news should be. Serious and relaxed. Also, Ned Lamont won the Connecticut Democratic Primary, and that was touched on a bit in this episode.
I’m not sure what’s going on, but I never got any questions for Brock in my e-mail. So send in those questions!

Wow…this is the first time Zack didn’t edit out our random comments that would take away from the mainstream focus of the show. Cool.
So what the hell was with the news update text?

HEY I’m Here! I didn’t get a chance to view the episode till I got home. Awesome again. I think you should have a couple preshow cocktails before the next episode so you’ll be even more brutal to brock. I loved the diagram of the kvm switch too and how abruptly you cut away from it. hilarious.

Awesome, well I understand then.
Samuel, you’re coming off the board unless you can get another friend to come by and start commenting!

Have you considered aesthetic changes to increase the number of coments?
Perhaps you could change clothes - I’ve been keeping tally and you’ve worn the same jacket/shirt/tie combo for eight consecutive episodes that have spanned over three weeks
I think fewer awkward silences would help keep the flow smoother - maybe follow Braq’s suggestion and leave in more of the random comments. It would also allow you to fit more action-packed news in time slot.
And to gently point out a reporting error:
There were actually five baby pandas born recently,
Watching you like Big Brother would,

Thanks Craig for pointing out that error. But I must now point out an error on your part. I actually wore a short-sleeve dress shirt under the jacket twice on previous episodes!
